# 2017-08-16: LinuxKit Security SIG Meeting

This is a friendly reminder that the next LinuxKit Security SIG meeting will be this upcoming Wednesday August 16th at 9AM PT, at this video link: [https://docker.zoom.us/j/779801882](https://docker.zoom.us/j/779801882).

This week we’ll get an overview of the [okernel](https://github.com/linux-okernel/linux-okernel/tree/linux-okernel) project from the folks at HPE working on it. The okernel project splits the kernel into an “inner” and “outer” kernel, using Extended Page Tables to cause faults when code incorrectly crosses security boundaries.
